"Hello"
"Hello, Whats up bro?"
"Mams (slang or a lingo to address a friend) just dropped in, you were suppose to pick me up”
“Fuck maccha (another slang or a lingo to address a friend) sorry da coming right away”
“Fine i will be walking towards.. You meet me at the first signal”
“Chillu” (slang for “OK”)
“Come soon” Vishal disconnects the call, plugs in his Earpiece slips his phone back in his jacket and starts walking.
Vishal keeps looking for a “Fazer”(Popular bike) with dual Head lamps expecting his friend Rev to pick him up. A Few yards of walking and he stops at the signal and sees that his friend was standing across the road, waiting. He quickly waits for signal crosses the road and tap on his friends back. “Yo bro” Rev removes his helmet to wish him “maccha” vishal’s smile tend to fade away as he see Rev’s face That clean shave and those zero glasses “Disturbing” with the same perplexed look Vishal picksup a rupee from his pocket and offers it to Rev. Equally confused Rev asked “Ed yak maccha?” (means “Why bro?”) Vishal moves closer to Rev and says “Mams, Today is Friday and with those looks... You look like you are on a roll call”.
“Lavde”( means penis) says Rev but still takes the rupee and slips it in the pocket. Both burst out in to laughter and and vishal gets on the bike and they start the ride.
As the ride continues the old friends do catch up and talk things happening in their lives and bike comes to halt at the famous banglore traffic signal. As the series of tail lights glow red on their faces vishal asks Rev “I wonder why traffic signal has a Yellow Light? I mean really who gives a fuck red you stop Green You Go and “Yellow” i know it has a purpose but who gives a fuck?” Rev Replies “maccha i think in every bunch exists a useless entity with no purpose which has no value but still exists” Vishal with a witty reply says “Like You?” Rev replies even quicker response “Nope, Like Us” “hahaha” as this conversation was about to end the boys tend to hear Giggles.
There was a girl gang on their scooters in their own zone of laughter as usual the boys had to check them out No need to blame only these two as most of the crowd around was doing the same. As the matter of fact Vishal and Rev have had their voyeurism in peaks and leturing above clouds, but now.. Now was different they were so out of those stuffs but yet they had no idea why these girls were magnetising their attention. Rev Leans towards vishal and says “Mams don’t you think we are drooling a little too much?” Vishal replies with a nod with his eyes struck on a girl in a pillion among those girls she wore a gray and white striped top and jeans her face was almost covered by her hair which she use to tuck it behind earlobe revealing her smile vishal eyes glued to this girl tells rev “Dude that girl has a very sweet smile” Rev checks and says” Go tell her that ha ha” Vishal sits still on the bike, now her friends know that vishal is checking out their friend. Vishal had lot to say but had no idea what to do, the girl was a total stranger to him. The signal pops to Yellow, the vehicles roar vishal had no time, he jumps off the bike and walks to the girl “I wish i could sing a song for you, but i am a bad singer but that doesn’t stop me from saying that you have a adorable smile “ the girl throws that killer smile again vishal steps back starts to kneel with opening arms and sings “Tumko paya hoon toh jaise khoya hu”and points his finger to her says “see i told you, your smile makes me sing” Horns honk and vehicles start moving. Vishal runs back to the bike as Rev hits the road as the vehicles move vishal’s bike and the girl’s scooter does move next to each other. Vishal with a glued smile resting his face on Rev’s shoulders continues to stare at the girl. Girl little embarrassed with what all just happened smiles back at vishal and signals “what?” lifting her eyebrows. Vishal signals “nothing” vishal remembers something and checks his bag he finds a “yellow smiley” badge with hearted eyes 😍 he hands it to the girl. Though confused,
girl does take it from him and the traffic signal arrives the vehicles part away the girl does smile one last time to vishal as the scooter fades in to the flowing traffic.

Vishal turns back taps on rev’s shoulders, he smiles at himself for this pointless approach and feels like “Yellow”.
